Florian is a Venture Partner at Signature Ventures. He has been a serial entrepreneur from the early days of the internet and knows how to build and scale tech companies.
Having invested in Bitcoin and a number of blockchain projects early-on, Florian launched chainEurope.org as early as 2017, mapping all European blockchain startups. He shares his knowledge and experience as a blockchain lecturer at the Technical University of Munich. In the early days of the internet, he founded and successfully exited united-domains. Later, he founded neubau kompass, Germany’s leading real estate marketplace for new residential constructions. With investments in more than 50 early-stage tech startups to date, it is no surprise that Florian was awarded "Business Angel of the Year" in Germany in 2018.
When not listening to the latest podcasts on tech and investing, Florian has another full-time job as a dad of four. When he needs time off, he goes skiing in the Kitzbühl Alps or boating at Berlin's Scharmützelsee.
